Parents and Guardians please note that we will be doing a few activities for Halloween at school on the afternoon of October 31st, but everything will be finished before dismissal. This will be an "Orange and Black" themed dress up day. Students will be asked not to bring/wear costumes to school. We will provide a few healthy snacks for all students. Any treats brought by the students for their classmates will not be eaten at school - they will be sent home so you can use your discretion.
We will be having our "Fall Harvest Pancake Breakfast" on Saturday, October 13th from 8:30am to 10:00am. Come join us for pancakes, fresh fruit, tea and coffee.
Students are asked to come support the Tabusintac Tornados in their catapult launch SAturday, Sept. 29th! The event will take place at 1:00-3:00. We're looking for our team Tornados to be there at 12:45 to start cheering them on! We're trying to defend our second place title and go for first! As well, take the coveted School Spirit Award for $250! Come on out!
Parents: The first Home & School meeting of the year will be held on Wednesday, September 26th at 5:30pm. Come and see how you can make a difference in your child's 2018-2019 school year!
Please join us on Tuesday, September 18th from 6:00-7:30pm. We will have a session in the gym where staff members will be introduced to the parents of our TCS community. We will also tell you about some activities and events to look forward to this school year. Following that, there will be some refreshments in the lobby where parents can mingle. Students just loved their visit from Donna today! She has so much knowledge about First Nations culture & way of life. Students heard stories and learned dance and song while Donna drummed. She discussed with them traditional medicines, meanings and mindfulness. Happy National Aboriginal Day! (June 21) and everyday!Happy National Peace and Frienship Day!
